What's a Century Among Friends?

A month or two ago, I passed a thrift store that I have never been able to visit without kids in tow.  Thrifting with kids?  Not easy.

Thrifting alone?  If I could do it more, I would probably get lucky!  

I hate trying on, but this dress was inexpensive enough to take a chance on, especially since I figured I could do some alterations.  Plus, elastic waist! 

Perfect fit!  And even Bill approved.  (At least when I tried it on first at home...this morning he made some crack about 80's vintage:  1880's.
