I am not a fashion victim.
No, it is more like fashion was out stalking for victims, saw me, said "Meh," and went off to find someone with more money in her wallet who was taking risks.
I've never been a great dresser. I catch trends too late. I hate shopping. I'm always rushed for time. I have not figured out how to dress a body after two babies. Oh, and I live in a place with no stores.
Well, not none, but here's the choice at the mall: Sears, JCPenney, New York and Company, Old Navy. Not even a Gap (though there's a Gap Outlet up the road.) We have a Target. A WalMart. And a TJ Maxx.
This is not to say that I ALWAYS miss the mark. I don't think. I have a few things that I love. But I also have a tendency to be overly optimistic, and then when I see my outfit in pictures? Oops.
So here's the deal: I want to start making an effort. I love fashion. I love fashion blogs. And if I know people will SEE my outfit, well then, I might pay more attention...so here goes.
